Smt. Abhinaya Natarajan of Bengaluru’s renowned ‘Natarajarangam School of Dance’ is a dedicated and exceptional dance guru and artist. An excellent dancer herself, Abhinaya is popular for her skillful, captivating expressions and the presentation of innovatively designed dances. Kum. Ananya Sharma, the beloved daughter of Smt. Chhaya Sharma and Sri Anindya Sharma, is a talented artist who has been learning Bharatanatyam with great passion and dedication under Smt. Abhinaya Natarajan for the past 10 years. Ananya has had a deep love for dance since childhood. Recognizing her talent, her parents initially enrolled her under dance guru Aishwarya, and later gave her the opportunity to be shaped under Abhinaya’s guidance. Ananya began learning Bharatanatyam with immense devotion, love, and interest, and Abhinaya mentored her with equal care and enthusiasm.
Having started her dance practice at the age of 7, Ananya has passed the Junior Board examination from Dr. Gangubai Hangal Music and Performing Arts University with a ‘Distinction’. The seventeen-year-old is currently studying in the 12th grade at GEAR Innovative International School in Bengaluru. Alongside an immense interest in computers and technology, she is also learning Carnatic classical music. She has won prizes in numerous school cultural competitions and has already earned the appreciation of art lovers through her performances in various temples and stages across the country.
Now, to showcase her remarkable talent, she is formally making her Rangapravesha on Saturday the 18th at 3:30 PM at the ‘New Horizon College of Engineering Auditorium’ in Marathahalli, Bengaluru. A warm welcome is extended to all art lovers to come and experience the aesthetic joy of her captivating dance.
